A liquid latex used to block washes of colour, such as watercolours or ink, from areas you wish to remain untinted.

Apply masking fluid with a brush, colour shaper or ruling pen. If applying with a brush it best used with a old or spare brush since masking fluid will dry fast and may gum up the bristles; tools can be washed with warm soapy water immediately after use or you may require solvents such as turpentine or white spirit to remove stubborn latex residue.

Quick drying and easy to remove. Remove with a soft eraser, colour shaper or your finger tips. Make sure overlaid colour is fully dry before removing to avoid unwanted colour bleeding or smudging or damage to your paper.

Untinted. If you wish to tint the masking fluid for easy viewing and removal we recommend mixing a tiny amount of watercolour in Cerulean Blue before application, as this should not stain your paper but will add a slight pop of colour!
