Skipton's Huge Annual Festive Craft Event Is Back!

Crafts in the Pen is back at The Skipton Auction Mart!  Come and join us between Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November as hundreds of artists and crafters transform the cattle pens into galleries for the weekend. The event has grown into a wonderful crafts market the whole family can enjoy, with over 4,100 visitors last year. 

Your entry includes free parking, free event brochure and a free Santa's Grotto, complete with elves, giant teddies and presents! Entry for under sixteens is also free.

Every purchase you make at Crafts in the Pen helps support our stall holders, who are small and mostly local businesses.

Whats On?

Come and see the work of 230 stallholders as they exhibit, inspire and sell their original work in the converted cattle pens. Whether you are an artist, crafter, art collector or arts and crafts fan, there is something for everyone. 

From groundbreaking art and craft work to that perfect Christmas gift. The huge array of talent on display is sure to impress every visitor.

The celebrated street artist SP:Zero will be travelling up from his home town of Bristol to run FREE workshops showcasing the potential of the amazing Posca pen range.

Visitors will get the chance to decorate their very own tealight holder or Christmas bauble in their own unique style. Pick up fantastic hints and tips from the talented and successful artist and discover the incredible possibilities of Posca pens.

Workshops are running throughout both days at 10.30, 12.00, 13.30, 15.00. Places are limited so make sure you sign up early to avoid disappointment by emailing [email protected]

Warm up in the Starlight Cafe. The themed cafe is serving hot and cold food, drinks and even mulled wine. Rest your feet and warm up in between trips up and down the stalls. 

Or why not visit Santa in his grotto? Simply hand your child’s postcard to one of our cheeky elves for a free visit to Santa’s Grotto! They’ll even come away with a treat from Santa.
