Pebeo Studio Gouache provides opaque, vivid and high pigmented water based colour. Gouache is often known as the 'opaque watercolour' and is favoured by illustrators and graphic artists, though it is an essential medium for all artists and designers of varying styles. Studio Gouache is designed for both professionals and students and can be applied to paper, card, bristol board and canvases primed for watercolour painting.
Colours dry evenly, with an extra matt finish. Lightfastness varies from Good to Very Good, with a few exceptions (Bright Orange, Carmine and Primary Magenta).
Colours dry within several hours (according to dilution and paper weight) and can be reworked with water or wet colour once dried, so be sure to protect finish pieces with varnish. Colour remains bright and vivid even after drying.
