The Pebeo linoleum plate is an essential surface on which artists carve their designs using gouges, before applying ink and pressing the plate onto paper or another medium to create a print.

It offers a high-quality working area with a texture that ensures clean, detailed prints. Hard enough to allow precise engravings, but soft enough to be cut easily with engraving tools.

Made from natural and renewable materials: including linseed oil, wood or cork flour, and resin.

There are 4 different sizes to suit all types of projects:

  • 15x10 cm: Ideal for small-scale work or testing.
  • A5: Perfect for medium-sized prints or more detailed projects.
  • A4: Standard size for larger engraving works, offering a good balance between space and ease of use.
  • A3: For artists who want to work on large surfaces, this size allows for ambitious creations and large-scale prints.

Each lino plate has a thickness of 3.2 mm.

The engraved linoleum plate can be reused multiple times, allowing for around ten prints.

Care: Inked linoleum plates can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not rinse the plate directly under water, as this could damage your lino plate.
