The perfect complement to soft pastels; the slightly harder lead combines precision and smoothness of application, while retaining the expressive softness of a pastel.

Lacquered round barreled wood cased pencils. To retain the lead point, sharpen pastel pencils carefully, with a blade or dedicated pastel pencil sharpener.
