Derwent Inktense Pencils 72 Tin

Derwent Inktense are a water-soluble, permanent and bright colouring pencil. You can use them dry but mix them with water and the colour turns into vibrant ink. Once dry, the colour is fixed, and you can work over the top of it, allowing layer upon layer of transparent colour.

As the colour is permanent, Inktense may also be used for fabric painting and techniques such as batik.

The Inktense range is perfect for illustrators, flower artists and fashion designers. Once colours are washed out they dry quickly meaning very little bleed occurs, so colours can be positioned next to each other.

Contains complete range of 72 colours, which includes the Outliner pencil; a non-soluble pencil that can be used to block colour where needed.
