Derwent Inktense pencils are available in 100 highly pigmented, intensely vibrant ink-like colours. These watercolour pencils are permanent once fully dry, offering exceptional layering without moving previously dried layers, unlike traditional watercolours.

You can use them dry but mix them with water and the colour turns into vibrant ink. Once colours are washed out they dry quickly, meaning very little bleed occurs so colours can be positioned next to each other.

Effective on paper, fabric, ceramics, wood and other porous materials.

There are 100 colours to choose from, which includes the Outliner pencil; a non-soluble pencil that can be used to block colour where needed.
